Narrow Street...

DSC01930, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

I like the narrow streets in the old towns/cities, hence the many photos of them in my albums from different places i've visited:)

It's appealing (to me, that is) and it conveys a closer community during that time. I can imagine that during those days, people knew each other well, as they live nearby and actually can have a conversation from their windows (i think)!:)

Wherever I go, I always find the oldest city/town in a country and most of them (if not all) have the same pattern or lay-out....narrow streets, that some of them, you can actually reach out and touch each other's windows (saw that in Stockholm)!:)

I think I like that kind of community...a community that is close and know each other...just thinking of most of the communities nowadays, its just totally different...most of the people that lives in a community doesn't even know their neighbours or haven't seen their neighbours, and to think that they live in the same area for years!

I believe that making an effort to know your neighbours and established friendships with them is the first step to have a good and friendly community...which in the long run will benefit everyone and the new generations...

I think we don't want a community with an attitude that conveys "I don't bother you, so don't bother me or just plain un-friendly or I'm too busy to care and to get involve."

A loving, caring and friendly community is what we all need....don't you think so?

Have a Seat...

Isn't this one another brilliant piece of art?

As I am blogging this, I am thinking that (maybe) its the same artist/s that created all these interesting pieces that I stumbled upon while walking around Ennis (Innis-its gaelic name) centre.

Would be nice to find out who this artist/s and get to know a bit of him/her and to understand what motivated him/her to these interesting pieces....

Some people are just gifted in arts and I applaud them for sharing their gifts and talents to their community (and to those that are visiting). And I believe that we, as part of a community should share whatever gifts or talents we have.

Something to give back to our community and it also added richness to it as well as to establish a good rapport within the community. I think that's a good way of sharing and caring for the community and to each other.

Brilliant and Practical Artwork...

Another random artwork around Ennis (Innis) centre...an interesting and practical piece of artwork, isn't it? It was situated at the park, one of the public places in Ennis (Innis) centre. A place where people sitdown as they take their time watching the pigeons, ducks being fed by the people that passes by.

Just brilliant and practical artwork. I like the idea that it is useful and represents a culture and history at the same time!

Interesting Piece of Art...

DSC01910, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Another random artwork in Ennis (Innis) centre...I think its good to have them everywhere, that added some touch of culture and history to a place....besides having the galleries and museums, as not everybody likes to go to museums or galleries, atleast having them in open places, gives the people a glimpse of the history or culture of the place that they are visiting...

This one is pretty much a puzzle to me and keep me wondering whenever I view this artwork...my mind wondered about the artist and what motivated him/her in creating this piece....I wonder if its the same artist...interesting piece, isn't it?

Random Art...

DSC01911, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Another random art that I saw as I was walking around Ennis (Innis). It's in the centre of Ennis (Innis). Just interesting stuff that caught my attention. I was thinking of the artist that created this, creativity indeed is in each person, it just expressed in different ways!

I do believe though that whatever was expressed is what the person feeling and what he/she thinking. And I think that goes to other medium of arts (writing, songs, painting, etc.).

That is why I always think of the person/s behind each artwork/writings that I read or viewed, I always wonder about these people behind their creation/s. I think its interesting to sit down and hear them talk about their creation/s. What motivates them.

Clare County Public Library & Gallery...

DSC01907, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Visited this place during my visit in Co. Clare (Ireland). I spent several hours in this library. I checked it out since I like going to libraries and to galleries. I checked out what books they have. I sat there for couple of hours browsing and reading some books about Ireland and several books that I found about Russia-Ukraine. Re-read the controversial explosion of the plant in Chernobyl. That explosion was the starting point of Russia losing its grief of Ukraine. Then the independence broke out after.

This place is really nice, one of the old buildings in Ennis (Innis-its gaelic name). I like the idea of using the old, empty buildings into something useful for the public instead of just letting it be empty and un-used. I think that's practical and a brilliant idea.

The connecting a gallery to the library is a good idea as well. Spent a couple of hours checking the stuff that they have in their gallery. Interesting stuff, wish I can take photos, but it was not allowed.

Beautiful...

DSC02177, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Another beautiful flower that makes me smile:)...and again, I don't know the name of this flower!:( (sorry!)...I enjoy and appreciate simple things in life and simple things always makes me smile:)

Many times I have asked myself, why is it that people (us) makes life complicated most of the time? That if we want to, we can enjoy and be happy and content with simple things, but no, most of the people (us) wants to complicate things and then in the end we are the ones that suffer in trying to "un-complicate" matters!

I think, we just have to learn how to stop or slow down a bit, and try to enjoy and appreciate the things around us, and I am sure that will help us a lot in dealing with everyday issues, as we will see things in different perspective.

Another Lovely Flower...

DSC02166, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Most of the time I just point and shoot when I am taking photos of anything that interest me and most of the time I am pleased with the way some of my photos came out:)...I have more to learn in photography and I will keep practicing and learning!:)

I like this photo...i like the flower made its way out under the bunch of leaves that almost made it impossible for the flower to get out or be seen...

It reminds me about life, that under any circumstances or in the midst of things that are going on in our lives there are beautiful and good things that wanted to come out of it, if only given a chance to grow and bloom...given just a tiny way out to make itself seen and brighten up everything around us...a tiny spark of light can make a big difference in a dark place or seems like a hopeless situation...

Random Art

Another random art that I saw at Innis center...there are several of them at one of the round-about...interesting kind of arts...and almost all of them are made of smooth rock or stone...

I believe that we all have something to contribute to our community, may it be in form of arts or practical help...

An Old Church

DSC01900, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

One of the old churches in Ennis (Innis), didn't get to ask what church is this though...was just walking around and saw this around Ennis (Innis)...

Since Ireland is dominantly a christian country, there are churches everywhere, the history of Ireland's christianity goes back from AD 400-800:

Front of the Remnant of a Castle (Ennis)...

DSC01881, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

This is the frontal side of the remnant of the Castle that I saw in Ennis (Innis). Tried to take a photo of the inside from outside...maybe next time they will allow curious people like me to go inside and take a peek of what's left of it!:)

Ireland like UK has too many old castles to visit...and I like visiting them and try to imagine what it was like then!:)

History always captivate my interest, as it is part of the present and the reason things happened...knowing the history or background helps us understand the present...

Flowers...

DSC02164, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Another bunch of flowers from the garden of Rummy and Mary. I wonder if this kind of flowers grows only in cold countries...I am not sure if I saw this kind of flower in tropical countries though...was just a random quetions/thoughts:)

I love the shade of pink of this flower...beautiful!:)

Kind of Flower...

DSC02160, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Another kind of flower that you can find in Rummy and Mary's garden. I really don't know what's the name of this flower, but its beautiful and have an interesting appearance of its own:)

Will ask next time the names of the flowers in their garden!:) I wonder if someone can put or plant all the different flowers in the world in one huge garden, can you imagine how it looks like? Can you imagine how beautiful it will be?! I can, and that will be THE GARDEN of all times!!!:)

Hmmm...wondering now, how many different kinds of flowers there are....anyone have any idea?

Castle's Remnants

DSC01879, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

One of the many remnants of a castle in Ireland (Innis)...wanted to go inside of this one but seems like it was closed...saw some people working on it though, so I guess that's why...

Would be nice to see the inside of it...although I know that its just a shell of the castle but still its different when you go inside and see it for yourself and imagine what it was like before...will probably do next time!:)

Random Remnants

DSC01878, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Saw this during one of my walks around Ennis (Innis), I believe this is a piece of remnants of an old church...although another old church building shell is just across this one as well...so, was wondering what this piece of remnants is...probably an statue or something....have to ask my friend about this...

There are lots of random sculptures around the places I visited in Ireland and they are interesting pieces...

Kilaloe, Ireland

DSC01862, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

This lake long and beautiful lake is over-looking from where I stayed in Ireland. Amazingly gorgeous view to look at everyday!:)

I often walk down to the lake in the morning when I was there. It's quiet, a place to think and to just relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The gentle cool breeze from the lake is refreshing and most welcome!

Another of God's creation for the people to enjoy, if they only take the time to slow down and be still from time to time....

Isn't it Lovely Flower?!

DSC02170, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Another flower that grows in the garden of Mary and Rummy. Isn't it lovely?!

I should have asked them the names of the flowers in their garden but I forgot, and I am bad when it comes to the names of flowers!:(

I know, I know, I should start learning the names of the flowers if I want to keep a garden full of them!

Lovely Flower...

DSC02165, originally uploaded by joshuaone6to9.

Isn't it a lovely flower?!:) This is the front garden of Mary and Rummy in Ireland. Their garden is well maintained and lovely. Even if they are in their old age they still do gardening and keep it trimmed. They love gardening and it shows how the flowers and plants in their garden responds to their love and care.

One of my wish, is to be able to keep a garden and maintain them well! I love to see flowers around the garden and inside the house. The sight of flowers always makes me smile and makes me happy, that's why i love them!:)

Cliffs of Moher, Ireland

Finally, got to see this place and was able to take my own photos of the cliffs!!:) It is a lovely place, amazingly gorgeous!! Another of God's creation that people enjoy!:)

Took many photos of this place in different angles:))
