Dianna another two years old little girl...enjoying her tea as well:)...Dianna is the daughter of a young couple Lena and Vetalik...she is a very hyper little girl:) she can't sit still, you will find her roaming or running around the place:) Dianna loves to dance...she will start dancing when she hears music playing:) Dianna also have a very strong will character!:)

Sveta
Sveta a two years old little girl...enjoying herself with the floater:)...Sveta is the daughter of another young couple, Oksana and Sergei...they live in another city (Slavyansk City)...Oksana used to live in Donetsk but after getting married two years ago, she moved with her husband to Slavyansk City. Sveta, is a sweet little girl...she loves to play and story telling:)...like Dianna she also has a very strong will character!:)
meal time!
Enjoying their meal after a spending the whole morning swimming in the river:)...Kostia, Nastia and Veronica...they've been swimming almost the whole day that day!:) they only come out of the water when called to eat:)...meal time consist of Ukrainian buter brod (sandwich), cheese, tomatoe, boiled egg, grilled sausage and cucumber...and of course the tea and cookies or whatever sweets after the meal:)
content and happy
Kostia...full and happy...and ready to go back to the river for a swim:)...most of the teens that day was happy and content being in the river and just enjoy swimming!:)...these teens enjoyed their time at the picnic...especially the river and their time together with their peers:)
Ukrainians love going to the river or beach...they love to swim and have a sun tan..if not swimming they are sun bathing:)...they can stay in the beach for weeks or the whole summer if they can!:)

Sharing whatever food each one brought with them to the picnic...a good time to share with others and to socialize with others:)
I like the atmosphere in this kind of activity...people are just relax and open...a good time to talk and to just spend time together...the food makes it even better to be together:)
It's really nice to see the people sharing what they have to one another and helping in the work at the picnic...everyone is willing to help and to share:)

Being in the picnic has it's persk as well for two lovebirds:) they can enjoy their time together swimming in the river, sun bathing or just relaxing and talking...definitely a good place to relax and talk!:)
An opportunity as well to observe each other on how they socialize with their family and friends...and to practice taking care of one another in some practical ways!:)

That was that day for anyways...to have fun and enjoy the day with friends and family at the picnic...which pretty much what happened that day with everyone!:)

Had their lunch and having their "tea party"...even in picnic Ukrainians have their after meal tea.:)
instant food
Instant food is one of the menu in Ukrainian picnics...especially the instant noodle soup!:)
Besides being light and easy to prepare, instant food are cheaper as well, so there is always instant food during the picnic, besides the Ukrainian sausages for grilling:)
The one in-charge of the "kitchen" need to always have a boiling or hot water for instant food and for tea or coffee.
People that goes to picnic bring their own water for cooking or for drinking as there is no clean water source in most places for picnic. Except the water in the river (that is if the picnic place is near a river).

Picnic or camping...either way Ukrainians are always ready and making sure that there is plenty of food for the whole day!:)
The one in-charge the "kitchen" makes sure that there are plenty of hot water for tea and for some instant food during the picnic.
It sure help a lot if places for picnic in Ukraine will have some clean running water and have a bathroom for shower and toilet. I guess, someday (hopefully soon) they will install them.

A time to relax at picnic with your love ones, to just enjoy the time together and at the same time to socialize with family and friends.
One thing that I've observed with Ukrainians, they love going to picnic during summer and just to enjoy the sun or if there is a river where the picnic is, they enjoy swimming all day long:)

People that doesn't want to swim...still goes to the river and just getting their feet wet:) This river though is clean and a good place for swimming, it's far from the city so it's not polluted and dirty as the ones in the city.
Rivers in Ukraine are always full of people during summer time. Even just a small lake or a pond Ukrainian children or even adult goes for a swim.
I saw some people swimming in a very polluted part of the river in the city, it was dirty and black but they don't care, they jumped in and swim. The river has park near it and people that goes in that park for picnic also swim in that river.
It should be banned as the water can and might have some bacteria or contaminated that will cause some illness especially to the children. But then again, safety is not a priority in this country.
Summer
One of the summer activities in Ukraine is to go for a picnic in the park or somewhere near a river...like this one:)
People enjoy being out and under the sun and getting some sun tan. Those that doesn't want to go for a swim (like these three) still enjoy going in the water and have their feet get wet:)
Some of them just lay down under the sun and just get toasted:) Most of them that was with us during that picnic went home burned badly from the sun. And most of them didn't use sunblock lotion or cream.
